Modern artists spend one day a month pissing on crucifixes and taking Polaroids of faggots with bullwhips hanging out of their assholes. The rest of the time they can be found in cafes wearing black clothes and sneering at everyone, then they all get AIDS and die. Because so many talentless fools have signed onto the pyramid scheme that is the art business, the definition of what constitutes art has been stretched to the point that it has no meaning. The word art is now applied to anything, including the music of Barbra Streisand, which proves it's a giant crock of shit. "

A very Crude, but interesting bit of text I found today.


Quite so often I look around on this artsite, and more then every couple of pictures, I end up saying 'wtf..' more than a few times.

It's so hard, to find something, that someone truly puts 'their' heart into. That wasn't inspired by any means but the beating in their chest. No 'anatomy' learned from books or taught to them, or electronical output lookalikes ( From TV shows, Games ), or uniques, Not even art brought on by seeing something amazing created by a true artist.. The only thing, that anyone needs to show.. is just.. something.. that is themself.


It's all I wanna see.. It's all that anyone, really, needs to see. and there isn't enough of it here. In life. In General.. None. There needs to be more.. art. Not the every day used word, but true art, that isn't just seen.. it's felt, held, and never leaves your mind for the remainder of the day.

Maybe it's time I stepped up and was an artist..



( PS: No, I'm not cracking down on anatomy. Anatomy.. is something that can be learned, along with many things. But only true art, Can't be learned, or taught by any means. It can only be shown. )
